Hi, Gang!
Here I am at long last with a weekend Amy update!
I have had some difficulty with my computer or I should say with onlineactivity, so I've been out of touch. Still haven't pin pointed my sporadicproblem, so I shall just press on!
Met with Miss Amy on Thursday. She had spent all day Wednesday tapinginterviews for her EPK (Electronic Press Kit),with Jon Rivers for broadcaston Christian radio and some clips for inclusion on the maxi single that willbe offered by Myrrh Records. The dates stand as follows: Release of "It Takesa Little Time" to pop radio - July 30. Street date of maxi single toChristian retail stores - also July 30. Release date of the album - September9.Got a wonderful email from my friend at A&M who tells me that the master isready to send for duplication first thing Monday morning! Sounds like it'sreally on the way...
Amy was still doing PR meetings when I arrived Thursday morning, but I had afew minutes with her in the afternoon. She was in a bit of a "brain deadstupor" like anyone would be who had just spent a day and a half answeringquestions about themselves, but she did sign that Baby Taylor that we'regiving away on album release day! I plan to draw for the 5 hand signed lyricson September 23 so that the winners will have an opportunity to pick some ofthe new lyrics if they want. Amy's really getting into this hand-writtenlyric thing. She has started a collection of them herself. She wants to do 20of them for us to give away at our Christmas reception in December! Youreally can't beat it - it's interesting, unique and FREE to provide!
A very big congratulations to Robyn Lewis from Victoria, Australia who wasour winner of the special edition CD for this week. Our first internationalwinner!
The newsletter is just about wrapped up. My faithful designer called thisafternoon and said that he would have it ready for me tomorrow so I couldtake it to film first thing Monday morning! Here is a brief clip from thecalendar:

June 16 - Amy to present the Minnie Pearl Award on The Music City News Awardsas she was last year's winner. Broadcast live on TNN at 7 pm (CST) andrepeated at 11 pm (CST)
June 17 - Amy will be singing on an all-star version of John Lennon's"Imagine" in New York City. Produced by Keith Thomas
June 19 - Amy & Gary's 15th Wedding Anniversary!
More than any gift or card, Amy and Gary would appreciate your prayers fortheir marriage and family if you think of them on their special day. It isreally the most and the very least that we can do. If we could see with oureyes the very power we release in doing so - I'm convinced that it would bethe first thing on all our "gift lists"!
On that note, today is mine and Stephen's 11th wedding anniversary. We had alovely lunchtime picnic in the country and spent time collecting ticks hikingon the old Natchez Trace :-) It couldn't have been nicer with ourunseasonably cool June weather. The sun even managed to shine for a while.
