Greetings and Happy Father's Day!
Special blessings to all you daddies. In honor of the day - I have drawn a winner from our amy-list to receive a CDcopy of Amy's MY FATHER'S EYES. I'll let you know who won when I hear backfrom them. Meanwhile - congratulations to Matthew Nolting in Indiana who wasour most recent winner for the expanded edition CD copy of BEHIND THE EYES.
You know Amy made a comment a while back about the sequencing of an album(order the songs appear) and that it can either make or break it. I honestlyhadn't given it much thought until I listened to a more recent tape copy ofthe songs in their current order. It left a different impression on me thanthe copy I listened to that put the "hurtin'" tunes at the beginning. I guessthe first song or two you hear really does set the tone for what follows. Irealize this song list has already appeared on at least one web site, but Iwould like to confirm the tune list for BEHIND THE EYES:
01 Nobody Home
02 I Will Be Your Friend
03 Like I Love You
04 Takes A Little Time
05 Cry A River
06 Turn This World Around
07 Curious Thing
08 Every Road
09 Leave It All Behind
10 Missing You
11 The Feeling I Had
12 Somewhere Down The Road
So there you have it!
Looking forward to participating in Fan Fair again this year. I'll actuallybe at Wynnona's booth all day Tuesday, so drop by if you're in town! Headingout to the Celtic Music Festival at Traveler's Rest this afternoon then offto the IFCO (International Fan Club Organization) Show at the Ryman tonight.
Our Christmas plans are shaping up nicely. Our dear friend, Christie Hauck, will be providing his famous Christie Cookies for desert for our receptionthis year! That makes it worth the trip right there! I was talking to a ladythat writes for "New England Country Journal" who is in town for Fan Fair. Itold her about our FOA party and that it's at Christmas. She was floored bythe turn-out I reported. "If you had told me you had 600 for a party thisweek - I wouldn't be surprised because everyone is in town this week. But tohave that many come for just one event during the holidays is veryimpressive." It's like I always say - there is no group more supportive orresponsive than Amy's fans!
Still soggy in Music City...
