Greetings! The best of our US Independence Celebration to all of you!
We're having a sunny and unseasonably cool day here in the south! Just got mynew CCM Update (from Contemporary Christian Music Communications) and lo andbehold - There is a full page ad for "Takes A Little Time"!
It should be on your favorite CCM DJ's desk now and going for ads July 11.So, call those local mainstream AND Christian music radio stations to requestthis new Amy tune!
It also lists the Myrrh Maxi-Single as shipping to Christian retail outletson July 15!
Amy's off to play in a Coca Cola Golf Tournament tomorrow, then on to NewYork for a video shoot early in the week. The promotional wheels are crankingaway so we'll be seeing less of Amy around the farm. Never a dull moment!
I'd like to cap off this post with a rather patriotic thought from Amy...intalking about our Pledge of Allegiance:
"Most of us learn The Pledge of Allegiance as a child. I remember my firstseveral years of school were spent in public school and they would do ThePledge of Allegiance over the public address system. I can still rememberexactly where I was...years after I had memorized the pledge...I can seemyself in my parent's home as a kid when I just went word by word through ThePledge of Allegiance and tried to understand what it meant. Why in the worldwas I compelled to do that as kid? I don't know. But I was. (I probably spentmuch too much time alone :-) Anyway, I remember phrase by phrase trying tounderstand what that meant and I was moved to tears. I was so overwhelmed byit. I wish that experience for everybody because it's a really wonderfulpledge and bought at a high price. Freedom comes at a high price."
Grateful for the freedom we enjoy...
