Amy's BEHIND THE EYES Tour will begin in late March. Amy will be out for more than 60 shows in more intimate venues (3,000 seat halls). I'll post an itinerary soon... The next pop radio single is "Like I Love You" tentatively set to release February 11... Also on February 11, you can hear about 45 seconds of Amy's "The Things We Do For Love" (From the Mr. Wrong soundtrack) at the end of an episode of "Chicago Hope". Amy appeared on the cover of the November/December 97 issue of "Performing Songwriter". She said that she really enjoyed doing that interview though she doesn't consider it one of her best ones... Amy is also the "mystery artist" featured in the January/February 98 issue of "American Girl" magazine. ---------- For those of you subscribed to the Friends of Amy newsletter... Our February issue will be delayed. Amy wanted to include the tour itinerary, so it's on hold... Amy is also in the process of evaluating the FOA service overall. I'm sure this will result in some revamping and we'll keep you posted as those details come to light. I have committed to a live web chat on February 7. This is a Saturday and we'll shoot for mid-day in hopes that we can talk to as many international friends as possible. More details will come here and on the website. You can always visit our FOA website. Remember that we make updates on the 1st and 15th of the month. Http://www.amygrant.com I hope to finish up the giveaways from last fall's online contest in the next week. I'm suffering from "bogus address-itus". Only one of the 5 lyric winners contacted has responded to my notification... Go figure. I'll also be giving away some CD singles and enhanced CDs to those renewing their subscriptions in the coming weeks. I know I'll have a current address to send them their prizes! :-) Until next time... -Lori Mc
