Friday, January 30, 1998 Greetings to you! I was pleased to receive a copy of the BEHIND THE EYES Theater Tour itinerary from Amy's management office yesterday. It is listed below. You will find the date, city, venue and ticket ordering phone number. I understand from a post in the newsgroup that tickets in some of the cities have already gone on sale. If I can get ahold of this information in any sort of reliable form for all the dates - I'll certainly make a post of it. Needless to say, advance ticket purchase and meet'n'greet opportunities will not be available for this tour. It is Amy's hope that the more intimate settings will enable everyone in attendance to go home feeling that they've experience a "personal visit". In other news... you can now hear Amy's song "The Power" being played behind some Century 21 Realty commercials. I happened to hear about this from my brother-in-law who is a co-writer on the piece and is anxiously awaiting the resulting royalties... The live chat that I have mentioned scheduled for February 7 has been moved back. I will announce a new date when one is confirmed. We are hoping for a day in mid-March prior to the start of the tour... In the coming days, you will be seeing some changes being made in the Friends of Amy Fan Service. Amy would like to put the emphasis back on the printed newsletter and be more involved in communicating with the medium that she is most comfortable with herself. We will continue using the website and this emailing list to make the most current and relevant information available to you. We can no longer attempt to respond individually to the tremendous volume of emails that we receive.
