Greetings, concert goers!
Below you will find once again a copy of Amy's Spring BEHIND THE EYES
Theater Tour Itinerary. I received corrections on three of the phone
numbers. They have been changed in the itinerary, but to call your
attention to them:
June 24 in Vienna, VA at Wolftrap - 703/218-2500
June 30 in St. Louis, MO at Fox Theater - 314/534-1111
July 3 in Tulsa, OK at Johnston Theater - 918/495-7000
I realize that some of you have found that the shows you are calling on
are (according to the ticket office) not yet confirmed. I had the same
experience when I called on the Ryman show here in Nashville. The
situation is simply that the date is on the books for the hall and the
promoter, but until they iron out every last detail of the transaction,
they will not release any tickets to be sold. Therefore, the ticket
folks have no info until the tickets are in hand, or at the very least
in sight. I have no effective way to discern the onsale dates for those
halls who have not confirmed every jot and tiddle just yet, so keep
checking back with them!
Amy stopped by yesterday afternoon and was thrilled to see a copy of
the itinerary on my desk, so I let her take one, of course. She once
commented that she learned more about what she was doing from reading
(the printout) of one of my list posts than by looking at her own
calendar. So - there you go!
My husband was enjoying reminescing over the current itinerary as well.
He was one of Amy's roadies during the "Straight Ahead" and "Age to
Age" tours and he was recognizing a lot of those venues from the old
days...=20
