Friday, March 13, 1998 A NOTE TO THOSE WANTING OFF THIS LIST: If you have not been able to unsubscribe yourself according to the instructions at the end of each post and you've gotten frustrated - I apologize. I do know how it is to be stuck on a list that you really do not want. I have been subscribed to about 15 lists with subjects as diverse as "living with a tumor" to discussions on corrugated metal. At least I'm the only one who posts to this amy-list! Try getting about 80 unwanted emails a day! At any rate, I am meeting with my list hosts to work out a new procedure for subscribing and for staying subscribed that should eliminate the "spam" factor even further. At this time, I simply do not have the time to research and unsubscribe each address. It takes twice the steps to unsubscribe as it does to subscribe. Sending me repeated or hostile messages won't help your cause. Just bear with me a little longer. I hope to have the new system in place well before I leave at the end of April. Thank you for your patience and understanding. -Lori Mc
